Tarragona Hiking Trails

The area around our resorts not only has a lovely coast and beaches: you will also find impressive mountain areas and experience the genuine visual pleasure of a hiking trail with sea views.
That is why we recommend, if the opportunity arises, that you take advantage of your stay at Alannia Resorts to hike, at least once, along one of Tarragona’s mountain trails, such as the “Mont-roig” trail, or the “Morera de Montsant” trail.

A perfect hiking trail for families

Another option is to find a moderately demanding trail closer to the Resort, which would be perfect for the whole family. In that case, we recommend all the Costa Dorada trails, which are very close to Alannia Resorts, and with a departure point at the campsite itself.
The outstanding Costa Dorada trail is the "GR 92: Sendero del Mediterráneo". In summer, it is a joy to hike along this trail and to swim in the coves you encounter along the way.

You can also follow this trail in the winter season, avoiding the crowds and the summer heat, and enjoying the peacefulness of nature and the stunning scenes of tall trees and the sea.
