by Antonio Felipe

Using these apps to save money and manage your family finances will make that family holiday you’ve been dreaming about all the more possible. Why not try it out and save for a holiday? Camping in Costa Blanca won’t cost you an arm and a leg, and you’ll get the most value for money at Marjal Costa Blanca Camping & resort. Fortunately, there are hundreds of apps out there with the sole purpose of helping you save money. Here are a few of our favourites:

  • Spendometer

Struggling to keep a record of everything you spend? Spendometer will allow you to stay on top of your finances by enabling you to set a budget. Every time you buy something, simply enter it into the app. The app will then track how much money you’ve spent for the month, how much you either usually spend or planned to spend, and how much it looks like you will spend by the end of the month. This way you can see if you’re spending too much, and what you might need to cut back on.

  • YNAB

You Need A Budget (YNAB) is designed to let you efficiently set aside funds for larger and infrequent bills. It’s category-based interface makes it easy to allocate available funds for different categories, like discretionary spending, big savings, etc. If an unexpected expense comes up in a category you didn’t budget for (say a speeding fine or medical bill), you can move funds from one category to another. YNAB has four rules of budgeting: 1) Give every dollar a job, 2) Embrace your true expenses, 3) Roll with the punches, 4) Age your money.
