Choose an affordable resort close to the beach

San Miguel/Esmeralda Mar is located on the beautiful island of Ibiza in a protected natural environment. With three swimming pools, you can cool down and bask in the Mediterranean sun all day. A studio or a two-bedroom apartment is perfect for a family, and comes with a kitchenette, air conditioning, and a satellite TV with a DVD player. Worried that the kids will get bored? The resort also has an entertainment team with daily entertainment and activities, including a children’s playground, canoeing, and a tennis court. The resort is within walking distance to San Miguel beach.

Go for the all-inclusive option

Club MAC Alcudia in Mallorca is located 10 minutes from the beach. Resorts with all-inclusive packages can often save you money in the long run since food, drink, accommodation, entertainment, and a free shuttle to the beach are all included. The resort has 8 different pools, sports facilities for kids and adults, daily entertainment, and it offers free access to the water park across the road keeping your whole family entertained for hours. If you’re a family of foodies, you’ll love the selection of restaurants, with show cooking, themed dishes, and delicious buffet meals.

Rent a villa

If you have a larger family, consider renting a villa or an apartment an ideal option for family holidays in Spain. If you don’t know where to get started, Airbnb is becoming a very popular choice for tourists, and it offers affordable rates. This villa in Javea, for example, has everything your family could want, for around £ 605 per week. It has three bedrooms, a swimming pool, two bathrooms, and air conditioning. The beach is 2.5km away, which is a great outing for the whole family. If you don’t plan on driving, make sure you pick a place that’s close to attractions or public transport.

Go camping

Camping is perfect for family holidays in Spain. If you’re not ready to sleep in a sleeping bag on the ground, there are now more luxurious alternatives to ‘roughing it up’ in the great outdoors. Camping facilities these days are not what they used to be back then, most of them have modern amenities, swimming pools, and activities. You could sleep in a luxury tent, a motorhome, a caravan, or a bungalow. Marjal Costa Blanca Camping & Resort is one of the most entertaining camping resorts in Spain. The plots are huge (itch of 90m2) and it’s equipped with: Electric conection of 16A, Water supply, Drain system, Tv conection… Kids and adults will be entertained by the water park, scheduled entertainment,  sports facilities, and a spa.
